Three Reasons Custom Tees Make Great Marketing Materials

If you’ve ever been to a professional fair, expo, or meetup, then chances are you noticed several of the companies tabling were giving away cheap custom tee shirts. Obviously, they did it as a way to promote their companies, but why do what everyone else does? If you wanted to stand out from the crowd, wouldn’t it make more sense to give something other than custom tees away?

The short answer is that it works. Custom tees are a cost effective way to promote a company, increase brand awareness, and perhaps even convince and convert customers. Here’s how.

It’s Incredibly Affordable.

For every dollar spent on custom tees, 200 impressions are generated. Say for example you spent $200 making custom tees. You’d get 40,000 impressions. If it takes about 10 impressions to convince and convert a new customer, then your simple order of custom tees has helped you get 4,000 new sales. Multiply that by the value of your customer, and subtract $200 from it, and you’ll know how much can be possibly made from your small order of custom tees.

It’s Amazingly Effective.

The moment someone wears one of your custom tees, they become a walking billboard for your company. Though most people know this to be true, it’s often dismissed as a rather ineffective marketing tool However, 73.5% of one survey’s respondents said that branded apparel are more effective marketing tools than TV ads.

It’s a Great Way to Improve Brand Recognition.

Lastly, custom shirts can improve a company’s brand recognition, even if the customer doesn’t ultimately decide to go do business. An attention grabbing graphic or phrase will catch readers’ eyes and then stick the company in their memory for later.

Firefighters Fight Cancer by Fundraising With Custom Tees!

Selling cheap custom tee shirts is a great way
to raise funds for a worthy cause. Case in point, firefighters in Ohio have
been wearing and selling cheap custom tees to raise awareness of breast cancer
in September for the last four years.

Chad Zambori, a firefighter and paramedic with
the Cumberland Trail Fire District Firefighters, says that the department
donates 100% of the money made from the custom tees to 3C’s Cancer Support
Group, a charity in Barnesville, Ohio.

Zambori tells a local news station that he
hopes to top last year’s amount, which was around $2,500. All of the money from
selling the custom tees goes to the families struggling against cancer, and can
be used for whatever they may need — gas, groceries, or anything else.

It’s through charities and fundraising efforts
like the Cumberland Trail Fire District Firefighters’ that 3C’s is able to help
so many struggling with cancer, said Patricia Reischman, the 3C’s
organization’s facilitator.

Order forms for the custom tees can be picked
up at the stations, or can be placed via phone. The money is due at the time of
order, and checks need to be payable to Local 3667, reports a local news
source.

Organizers hope that they’ll receive all
orders soon so that the custom tees can come in before October, which is breast
cancer awareness month, gets fully underway.

Similarly, the Bossier City Fire Department is
also selling custom tees to raise awareness of breast cancer before October.
Until September 19, the department is selling the shirts for $15 a pop, with
all the proceeds going towards local charities.

As these cases show, selling custom tees is an
excellent way to raise funds for a charity, a cause, or a special event. If you
have any fundraising needs, you’d do well to sell customized shirts, as these
fire departments are.

Russian People Are Going Crazy For Putin Tee Shirts

It’s no secret that cheap custom tee shirts can
be used as highly effective branding tools, so it should come as no surprise
that supporters of Russian President Vladimir Putin are buying customized
shirts bearing graphics of the political leader to show their support. What is
surprising, though, is just how popular these custom tees are.

After the success of an initial printing,
hundreds flocked to one of Russia’s biggest department stores in Red Square
when more of the custom tees were made. Even notable celebrity Mickey Rourke
was willing to wait in the two hour line to get his hands on some of the customtees, which cost about 1,250 rubles or $34.80 U.S. each.

The shirts were so popular, in fact, that the
manufacturer reported selling more than 7,000 in just one day.

The Putin graphic tee shirts came in 15
different variations, each with the Russian political leader in a different
pose accompanied with a different phrase. One features a famous image of the
former Spetsnaz in a military uniform riding a horse, and another shows the
world leader wearing a pair of shades. Some of te slogans include phrases
like, “They’re not gonna get us,” and, “The most polite
man.”

The designers of the custom tees say the
collection was inspired by a number of recent events, including the success of
Russia at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, the triumph of Russia’s national
hockey team in the world ice-hockey championship, and the reunification of
Crimea with Russia.

For Mickey Rourke, the shirt isn’t a political
statement, but merely an expression of his appreciation for the country. The
actor is dating a Russian woman, he says, and loves everyone in her family,
from her father to her babushka.

The Hollywood star said, “To me it is all
about family.”

Five Great Uses for Personalized T Shirts

There was a
time when personalized T shirts only seemed to appear in sports contexts, but
those days are long gone. Today, cheap custom T shirt printing is widely
available, making it a favorite option for teams and organizations of all
kinds. Here are our five favorite uses for personalized T shirts.
1.    Charity Runs
Before stepping out to walk or run in memory or honor of a loved one, many race
participants make a call to their custom T shirt printer to order team shirts
that show their reason for running. By wearing the face or favorite quotation
from your inspiration for donating, you can not only motivate yourself, but
show your love and appreciation to spectators and other racers.
2.    Small Business Advertising
Billboards are expensive, and commercials aren’t cheap either. Custom made Tshirts, however, have a much higher ROI, especially when they’re worn not only
by your team, but by happy customers. Put your logo and information on T shirts
for wearable advertising that makes an appearance all over town!
3.    Trivia Night
Trivia nights have become popular in bars across the country, and there’s no
better way to show other teams who’s organized and ready than personalized T
shirts. A team logo on the front and a nickname on the back is all you need to put
your best face on your brightest friends.
4.    Family Vacations and Reunions
In case that family resemblance isn’t enough to let strangers know you’re a
unit, custom T shirts can be perfect for getting the message across. Whether
it’s for safety on a family trip to a crowded amusement park or for a little
reunion solidarity, custom shirts are a great way to let people know that you
come as a package.
5.    Class Bonding
Being a high school senior is an experience in and of itself, and there’s no
better way to show class pride than to order custom shirts. They don’t just
make great fundraising pieces, but they let students wear their school spirit
proudly!

Personalized T shirts have plenty of great
uses, and we’re sure there are even more we haven’t thought of. Where else have
you seen custom shirts?

What Do Watermelon, Zucchini, and Books All Have in Common? Their Holidays Are All in August!

Chances are you were already aware that screen
printing is a way of using a polyester mesh screen to imprint cotton tees with
a design, but did you know that August is “Admit You’re Happy Month?”
And what better way could there be to admit you’re happy than by celebrating
some of August’s other quirky holidays with custom tees?

August 3 Is
National Watermelon Day.

Sweet, refreshing, and delicious, watermelons
are one of the best treats of summertime, and are well deserving of their own
holiday. However, if a piece of watermelon is particularly ripe, it can cause
quite a mess. Instead of messing up one of your other shirts, why not get
custom tees made up that not only celebrate this delicious holiday, but can
wear watermelon stains like badges of honor?

August 8 Is
Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day.

By the time August arrives, farmers and
gardeners alike are both reaping the benefits of their zucchini plants. The
trouble is that these plants are so bountiful that growers often have too much
on their hands! So, Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day was
created as a way to help to get some of these delicious green veggies off of
their hands. While making custom tees for this quirky holiday might give away
your intentions, SSZOYNP Day custom tees can clue others in on the fun, letting
them know of the perfect way to unload some of their squash.

August 9 Is
National Book Lover’s Day.

If there ever was a day to find a quiet spot
in the yard, crack open a new book, and just read all day, it’s August 9,
National Book Lover’s Day. However, this holiday isn’t well-publicized, so not
many people get to partake. To help spread literary awareness, why not make
some custom tees announcing the day’s meaning? You could even put your favorite
literary quotes or book covers on these custom tees.

The only wrong way to celebrate these quirky
holidays is to not celebrate them at all, but why not do it in style with some
awesome, cheap custom tees? That way, everyone can join in on the fun, even if
they didn’t know that August was “Admit You’re Happy Month.”
